WAUKESHA, WI - The MSOE men's lacrosse team opened the MLC schedule with a 13-11 win over Fontbonne Saturday in St. Louis. The Raiders (2-2, 1-0 MLC) snapped a two-game skid and now stands 2-2 overall this season.
Freshman Thomas Reid (Sault St. Marie, Ontario/Untsville) and Clay Gustafson (Suamco, Wis./Bay Port) each scored three goals, while Gustafson added a pair of assists in the win over the Griffins.
Defensively, senior defenseman Maxwell Wasscher (Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) talllied two ground balls and six caused turnovers in the win.
MSOE will return to action at Beloit on Saturday afternoon.

Concordia University (2-3, 0-0 MLC) finished the week with a 2-1 record, earning road wins over Elmhurst and Piedmont. Sophomore attacker Colin Raley (Inverness, Ill./William Fremd) scored six goals with two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 16-3 win at Elmhurst. Raley added three goals and one assist in the Falcons' 13-7 win over Piedmont.
Aurora University (2-5, 0-0 MLC) snapped a four game losing streak with an 11-8 win over John Carroll Friday. Senior Danny Loyall (Naperville, Ill./Central) scored three goals with one assist and sophomore Jason Koziol (Grayslake, Ill./Central) added three goals in the win.
Beloit College (1-3, 0-0 MLC) earned its first win of the season with an 8-4 win at Hendrix Saturday. The Bucs received four goals with one assist, four ground balls, and one caused turnover from Aidan Whinnery (Middleton, Wis.) in the victory.
Benedictine University (3-2, 0-0 MLC) earned a split during the week. The Eagles opened with a 13-8 loss at Augustana and closed the week with a 10-8 win at Huntingdon. Freshman Corbin Gett (Northfield, Minn./H.S.) led the Eagles with three goals and four ground balls in the win.
