WAUKESHA, WI - The MSOE men's lacrosse team opened the season with a split last week. The Raiders kicked off the schedule with an 18-8 win over Wabash and capped the week with a 10-3 setback to Berry.
In the win over Wabash, freshman attacker Clay Gustafson (Suamico, Wis./Bay Port) led the offense with five goals, two assists, and four ground balls.
Defensively, senior Jesus Arguelles (Hampshire, Ill./H.S.) racked up nine ground balls and caused one turnover in the win.
MSOE (1-1, 0-0 MLC) is set to face Piedmont on the road this afternoon at 4PM.
In other action...
Aurora University (1-2, 0-0 MLC) dropped a pair of contests last week, falling to Albion and Adrian. Senior Garret Rosiek (Blue Bell, Pa./WissAhickon) netted a pair of goals in each loss to lead the Spartans.
