WAUKESHA, WI - Aurora University earned the school's third-straight MLC title and will be the top seed in this week's tournament. The Spartans (11-7, 6-0 MLC) locked up the title with a 15-9 win over Benedictine last Thursday.
Aurora will host No. 4 seed Beloit (5-7, 3-3 MLC) at 4:45 PM Wednesday, April 29 in one of the MLC semifinals. Aurora beat Beloit 15-7 back on April 1.
Benedictine (11-4, 5-1 MLC) earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 3 seed Concordia (Wis.) (9-6, 4-2 MLC) at 7PM Wednesday in the other MLC semifinal. The Eagles slipped past the Falcons 8-7 on April 1.
The two winners will meet at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, May 2 at a time to be determined.
