MSOE's Collin Fischer and Pat Collins have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 5-11, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Fischer scored four goals, including two up goals, in a 9-8 win over North Central College (Ill.). The sophomore attackman had five points on two goals and three assists in a school-record 26-goal outing against North Central University (Minn.). He also caused three turnovers and picked up three ground balls.
Collins (Batavia, Ill.) made 10 saves in the victory over North Central (Ill.) and stopped a pair of shots in just one quarter against North Central (Minn.).
