MLC Selects Players Of The Week For April 2-8

Benedictine University's Corbin Gett and Concordia University Wisconsin's Garrett Wohlford have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of April 2-8, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Gett (Northfield, Minn.) scored six of the 10 goals in an MLC win over Cornell College, the fifth in a row for the Eagles. The senior's six goals came on only eight shots. He added a pair of groundballs.

Wohlford (Rochester, Minn.) was strong defensively during the Falcons two games last week, making a total of 18 saves and posting a 72.0 save percentage. He also had four ground balls. The junior made 15 saves against Aurora University before recording three saves and picking up four ground balls in 25 minutes versus Monmouth College.
