MLC Selects Players Of The Week For April 9-15

Benedictine University's Corbin Gett and Mateo Salceda have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of April 9-15, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Gett (Northfield, Minn.) tallied 15 points in a pair of wins as Benedictine ran their win streak to seven and closed in on a conference tournament slot. The senior had three goals and two assists in a win over MSOE, then matched a school record with 10 points in a win over Fontbonne University, scoring seven times and adding three assists.

Salceda (Delafield, Wis.) won 60 percent of faceoffs for the Eagles and added 13 groundballs. The rookie midfielder won 10 faceoffs in the win over MSOE with six groundballs and added 14 at Fontbonne with seven groundballs.
