BELOIT, Wis. -- Rashad Devoe has resigned from his post as the head coach of the Beloit College men's lacrosse program. His last day will be September 7.

Following a national search, Devoe was hired on as the head coach in August of 2015. In three years at the helm of the men's lacrosse program, Devoe led his squad to a share of the 2017 Midwest Lacrosse Conference title and three straight MLC Tournament berths. He was also named the league's Coach of the Year in 2017.

Devoe compiled a record of 23-24 including a 16-7 mark in league play over the course of three seasons.

"Beyond his success on the field, Rashad committed himself to mentoring students on the men's lacrosse team and many other students outside his team," said Beloit College Athletic Director Tim Schmiechen. "His mentoring, teaching and advising have made a significant impact on the lives of our students.

A national search will begin immediately.
