MLC Selects Players Of The Week For March 25-31

Marian University's Finn Maloney and Aurora University's Bryce Wallgard have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 25-31, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Maloney (Green Bay, Wis.) posted a 10-point game to lead the Sabres past Concordia University Chicago, 19-10. The rookie attacker scored eight times in the victory, once with a man-down, and added a pair of assists. He scored four of the six Marian goals in the second quarter and posted multiple goals in the fourth.

Wallgard (Newbury Park, Calif.) forced 12 turnovers in two games while picking up 13 ground balls. In the Spartans' 14-10 loss to Illinois Wesleyan University, Wallgard had nine caused turnovers and seven ground balls.
