MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia University Wisconsin completed the regular season with a perfect 11-0 record in Midwest Lacrosse Conference play to capture the 2019 MLC regular season title.

It's the Falcons' second title overall and second in the last three seasons after earning a share of the 2017 title. The outright league championship also snaps Aurora University's impressive run of six straight.

CUW (13-3 overall) topped visiting Cornell College, 21-3, in the regular season finale. Aidan Connolly and Warren Kaminsky had six goals apiece to lead the Falcons' attack, while Garrett Wohlford corralled seven saves to anchor the defense.

It was the ninth time in the 10-season history of the MLC the regular season champion went undefeated in conference play. The 2017 season is the lone outlier when Concordia Wisconsin, Aurora and Beloit College all went 7-1. The 11 victories this season sets the league record as the MLC is at its largest membership base with 12 members.

CUW is the top seed in the upcoming MLC Tournament and will host MSOE in the first semifinal game Wednesday at 4 p.m. Aurora hosts Marian University in the other semifinal at 7 p.m. and the tournament final will take place Saturday at the higher seed.
