MINNEAPOLIS --The tournament field for the 2023 Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) Tournament has been finalized.

Lake Forest College (11-4 overall, 5-0 MLC) won the league title for the first time in program history to earn the top seed for the tournament. The Foresters will host fourth-seed Cornell (5-11, 2-3) in a semifinal Wednesday, May 3. Game time is yet to be announced. Lake Forest earned a trip to the tournament for the second-straight year, and the Rams qualified for the third-straight year.

Dubuque (9-7, 4-1) has earned the second seed and will host Northwestern (3-8, 2-3) in the other semifinal Wednesday. Game time is yet to be announced. This marks the second-straight year the Spartans have qualified for the conference tournament, and the Eagles will appear for the third-straight year.

The two semifinal winners will meet Saturday, May 6 in the MLC tournament final at the highest remaining seed. Game time will be announced. 

The tournament champion is the MLC's automatic qualifier in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament.
