DUBUQUE, Iowa - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2023 Academic Team Awards, presented by Blatant Lacrosse.

The University of Dubuque was one of 54 NCAA Division III schools that earned the USILA Academic Team award. To earn the award, teams must achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Spartans were the lone team in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference to be honored this season. Cornell College previously earned this award last season.

This is the first time in the 10 year history of Dubuque's lacrosse program that they have earned this award.
