Benedictine University freshman attacker Corbin Gett (Northfield, Minn./H.S.) led the Eagles to a 20-1 win over Calvin in the season opener Saturday and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The freshman scored three goals, on three shot attempts, and added a school-record seven assists in his first collegiate contest.
Gett’s 10 point effort ranks second all-time on the Benedictine men’s lacrosse single game record list.
Benedictine (1-0, 0-0 MLC) will return to action at home against Carthage College Saturday at 11:00 AM.
