MWLC Selects Players Of The Week For Feb. 13-19

Augsburg College's Izzy Snow and Delaney Everett have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of Feb. 13-19, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Snow (Golden Valley, Minnesota) led all players with 11 points (five goals, six assists), as Augsburg claimed a pair of 18-4 wins, over Carroll University (Wisconsin) Saturday and Monmouth College Sunday. The sophomore scored four goals and two assists, along with two draw controls, four caused turnovers and a ground ball Saturday, then scored a goal with four assists, along with two ground balls, a draw control and a caused turnover, Sunday.

Everett (Brooklyn Center, Minn.) had an impressive opening weekend in the pair wins for the Auggies. The junior had seven goals and two assists for nine points, along with 12 ground balls, 12 draw controls and 11 caused turnovers. She scored three goals with two assists, along with eight ground balls, eight draw controls and eight caused turnovers Saturday, then scored four goals with four ground balls, four draw controls and three caused turnovers Sunday.
