Monmouth College's Kara-Jade Gordon and Rachael Leifheit have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of Feb. 20-26, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Gordon (Nashville, Tennessee) turned in her third straight multiple-goal game last Saturday. The freshman provided the spark with three goals, two in the first half, to keep Monmouth close for the first 30 minutes with the University of Dubuque. Gordon also scooped up a team-best six ground balls.

Leifheit (Lombard, Illinois) turned in a 15-save performance against a veteran University of Dubuque team. The sophomore goalkeeper turned in a 52 percent save percentage in her collegiate debut.
