Saturday, the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference crowned Hamline University as the MWLC tournament champion which secured the Pipers an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament. Monday, Hamline learned its first-round matchup in the 40-team bracket.
Champions of the MWLC Tournament for the first time, the Pipers (15-4), will face Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham (16-3) from the Freedom Conference at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania this Saturday.
Host Gettysburg College (16-3) will take on the winner Sunday after receiving a bye into the second round.
