Hamline University's Radian Lenz and Concordia University Wisconsin's Lauren Paquin have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 26-April 1, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Lenz (Wyoming, Minn.) had a big game as the Pipers improved to 4-0 in MWLC play with a 15-13 win over Concordia Wisconsin. The sophomore attacker scored three times in the first half as HU rallied from a 3-2 deficit for an 8-4 halftime lead. She finished with four goals and an assist in the win.
Paquin (Waukesha, Wis.) helped the Falcons split a pair of MWLC contests. The junior had a career-high 10 ground balls and eight caused turnovers, to go along with three draw controls during a home 15-7 win over Illinois Institute of Technology. The junior then had seven ground balls, four caused turnovers and two draw controls at Hamline.
