Hamline University's Sydney Dynneson and Molly Dionne have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of February 18-24, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Dynneson (Minneapolis, Minn.) scored three consecutive goals in the first half to help HU turn a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 lead and the Pipers never looked back in the 11-5 season-opening victory over Carthage College. The junior midfielder tallied four goals and an assist in the win.

Dionne (Hopkins, Minn.) had eight of her 11 saves in the second half as the Pipers defeated the Lady Reds. The senior logged all 60 minutes in net as Hamline avenged last year's season-opening loss to Carthage.
