MWLC Selects Players Of The Week For Feb. 25-March 3

Monmouth College's Kara-Jade Gordon and Aspen Chadderdon have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of February 25-March 3, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Gordon (Nashville, Tenn.) scored 10 points on seven goals and three assists as Fighting Scots posted an 18-8 win over Anderson to log the first back-to-back wins in program history. The junior attacker opened the week with a seven-goal, two-assist effort in the Scots' 13-3 win over Elmhurst College. For the week Gordon netted 19 points on 14 goals and five assists, gathered in 15 ground balls and won 10 draw controls.

Chadderdon (Marshalltown, Iowa) was relentless in Monmouth's back-to-back victories. The sophomore midfielder won six draw controls and grabbed seven ground balls in a season-opening win at Elmhurst. She followed with eight draw control wins and four ground balls in Saturday's 18-8 win at Anderson. For the week Chadderdon recorded 11 ground balls and won 14 draw controls.
