Beloit College's Nicole Dolcimascolo and Alexa Arakelian have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 4-10, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Dolcimascolo (Redding, Conn.) tallied seven goals and an assist as the Buccaneers split a pair of MWLC games last week. The junior midfielder scored four goals and added an assist in an 11-8 loss to Concordia University Wisconsin Thursday, then added three more goals in an 11-1 victory at Benedictine University Saturday.
Arakelian (Palatine, Ill.) recorded all 120 minutes at goal for Beloit in their two-game split last week. The junior totaled 20 saves with nine against the Falcons and 11 versus the Eagles for a .625 save percentage.
