Concordia University Wisconsin's Megan McPike and Hamline University's Molly Dionne have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 25-31, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
McPike (Mequon, Wis.) had 11 goals and four assists during a pair of MWLC victories. The rookie attacker had eight points (six goals, two assists), eight ground balls and five draw controls during a home win over Loras College. She then registered seven points (five goals, two assists), six ground balls and five draw controls in a victory against Marian University.
Dionne (Minnetonka, Minn.) tallied 25 saves and a 59.5 save percentage as the Pipers picked up four wins last week. The senior goalkeeper allowed just 17 goals in the nearly 200 minutes at goal.
