MINNEAPOLIS --The four teams for the 2022 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) Tournament have been finalized.

Lake Forest College (10-3 overall, 5-0 MWLC) won the league title for the first time to earn the top seed for the tournament. The Foresters will host fourth-seeded Wartburg (4-11, 2-3) in a semifinal Wednesday, May 4. Game time is yet to be announced. The Knights are making their first appearance in the tournament.  

Hamline (5-7, 4-1) has earned the second seed and will host Northwestern (5-9, 3-2) in the other semifinal Wednesday. Game time is yet to be announced. This marks the fifth-straight year the Pipers have qualified for the tournament, while the Eagles earned their second-straight trip to the conference tournament. 

The two semifinal winners will meet Saturday, May 7 in the MWLC tournament final at the highest remaining seed. Game time will be announced. 

The tournament champion is the MWLC's automatic qualifier in the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament.
