Adam Dobis has been named the next Hamline University head women's lacrosse coach.

"I'm very excited to take over a program and ensure our student-athletes find success both on and off the field," said Dobis. "I'am looking forward to the challenge of competing in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) and striving for great success in the NCAA Tournament."

Dobis arrives to the Pipers following two seasons at his alma mater NCAA Division II University of Indianapolis, where he was the assistant men's lacrosse coach. Dobis's stint with the Greyhounds consisted of back-to-back trips to the NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse Championship, a share of the 2022 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Regular Season Championship, the 2021 GLVC Men's Lacrosse Tournament Title, and a 24-7 overall record. Team travel, one-on-one field sessions, film breakdown, recruit visits/on-campus tours, and prospect camp evaluations were Dobis's primary responsibilities with the UIndy men's lacrosse program.

Dobis began his coaching journey with the Blue Star Club program, and Team UNRL.

As a student-athlete, Dobis was a four-year men's lacrosse team captain at UIndy. He led the Greyhounds to a pair of GLVC Tournament Titles in 2018 and 2019, as well as a spot in the NCAA Division II Final Four in 2019.

Dobis obtained his bachelor of arts degree in political science from UIndy in 2020. He went on to earn a master of professional studies degree in real estate development, also from UIndy, in 2022.
