Wartburg College sophomore goalkeeper Karolina Paulsen (Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain) helped the Knights claim a 13-8 win at Dallas Sunday and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The sophomore allowed eight goals and claimed 12 saves, ending the contest with a 60.0% save percentage as the Knights opened the season in the win column.
Wartburg (1-0, 0-0 MWLC) will face Southwestern (TX) on the road at 4:00 PM Tuesday.
