WAUKESHA, WI - Aurora University clinched a share of the MLC title and the top seed in next week's MLC Tournament Wednesday evening. The Spartans (12-3, 9-0 MLC) earned a 16-6 win over Benedictine to lock down the top seed.
Aurora will host No. 4 seed Augustana (9-5, 6-3 MLC) at 4PM (CST) Wednesday, April 30 in one of the MLC semifinals. The Vikings secured the final seed despite a loss to Elmhurst Wednesday night.
Concordia (Wis.) (13-3, 8-1 MLC) earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 3 seed Carthage (13-5, 7-2 MLC) at 4PM (CST) Wednesday in the other MLC semifinal. The Falcons locked up the No. 2 seed with a 9-5 win over the Red Men Wednesday evening.
The two winners will meet at the highest remaining seed on Saturday at 1PM (CST).
