WAUKESHA, WI - The Aurora men's lacrosse team kicked off the 2016 season with wins over John Carroll and Illlinois Wesleyan.  The defending champion Spartans earned a 17-11 win at home over John Carroll and beat the Titans 20-14 on the road.

Offensively, junior attacker Jason Koziol (Grayslake, Ill./Central) scored eight goals with two assists at Illinois Wesleyan and added three goals and three assists in the win over John Carroll.

Freshman long stick midfielder Josh Favorite (Maple Grove, Minn./H.S.) caused three turnovers and added four ground balls with an assist in Aurora's win over John Carroll.

Aurora (2-0, 0-0 MLC) will return to action at home against Adrian Saturday at 1:00 PM.
