WAUKESHA, WI - Aurora Universtiy and Concordia University (Wis.) each improved to 5-0 in MLC action to remain tied atop the standings heading into the final week.  The Spartans (13-2, 5-0 MLC) beat MSOE and Benedictine, while the Falcons (11-3, 5-0 MLC) handled MSOE and Concordia Chicago, setting up Saturday's championship showdown between the two programs.

Aurora junior Jason Koziol (Grayslake, Ill./H.S.) scored five goals with six assists in a 16-10 win over Wittenberg, two goals with two assists in a 19-9 win over Benedictine and closed the week with two goals and three assists in an 11-5 win over MSOE.

Concordia University (Wis.) senior Mark Wilson (Calgary, Alberta/Notre Dame) had one goal with three ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 17-7 win over MSOE and added one goal, four ground balls and five caused turnovers in a 24-1 win over Concordia Chicago.

Following his efforts against the CUC, Wilson now leads the Falcons program history with 75 career caused turnovers.

Aurora and Concordia (Wis.) will meet at 1:00 PM Saturday in Mequon, Wisconsin.

In other action...

Benedictine University (10-4, 3-2 MLC) locked up the No. 3 seed in next week's MLC Tournament following an 18-8 win over Cornell College. Sophomore Matthew Johnson (Rosemount, Minn./H.S.) scored five goals with two assists and one ground ball in the win.  The Eagles will close the regular season Saturday against MSOE.

Beloit College (4-9, 2-3 MLC) and Cornell College (3-9, 2-3 MLC) will battle for the No. 4 seed in the MLC tourney on Saturday.  The winner of the Bucs and Rams showdown will earn the right to travel to the top seed on Wednesday.
