MLC Selects Players Of The Week For Feb. 27-March 5

Benedictine University's Corbin Gett and Concordia University Wisconsin's Garrett Wohlford have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of Feb. 27-March 5, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Gett (Northfield, Minnesota) had a record-setting week for the Eagles in a pair of wins. The junior set the single-game record for goals with eight in a 20-1 decision over Fontbonne University, adding four groundball pickups. He set the career record for goals in a win over Kalamazoo College, finishing with six goals and an assist on seven shots. He tallied 14 goals with an assist and five groundballs on the week.

Wohlford (Rochester, Minn.) made 21 saves, had a 63.6 save percentage and picked up 11 ground balls last week, as the Falcons went 1-1 in non-conference play. He made 12 saves, had a save percentage of 70.6 and picked up five ground balls in an overtime loss at Elmhurst College before making nine saves with a 56.3 save percentage and six ground balls in road victory over Augustana College (Illinois).
