Cornell College's Braedon Geraghty and Concordia University Wisconsin's Paul Fisher have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 20-26, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Geraghty (Otsego, Minnesota) had a big hand in Cornell's 16-3 victory over Monmouth College last week. The sophomore did most of his damage in the first quarter, rattling off three straight goals, all within 1:30 of one another. Geraghty's nine points tied his program-high mark set last year.
Fisher (Champlin, Minn.) tied a program record with eight caused turnovers during the Falcons road game at Beloit College Saturday. The junior also had three ground balls.
