2017 MLC Tournament Field Set

2017 MLC Tournament

The four teams for the 2017 Midwest Lacrosse Tournament have clinched their spots and the seeding is set for next week's semifinals and final.

Three teams -- Concordia University Wisconsin, Aurora University, and Beloit College -- each earned a share of the regular season title with a 7-1 record in league play.

By virtue of the tie-breaking criteria, CUW (12-5, 7-1 MLC) earned the top seed and will host fourth-seeded Milwaukee School of Engineering (8-7, 5-3) in a semifinal game Wednesday at Fitting Field in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Aurora (16-2, 7-1), who earned a share of its fifth straight regular season title, was tabbed as the No. 2 seed and will host this year's third co-champion and No. 3 seed Beloit (10-5, 7-1) Wednesday at Vago Field In Aurora, Illinois.

The two semifinal winners will meet Saturday at the higher seed for the MLC tournament final.

The tournament champion is the MLC's automatic qualifier in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament.
