Saturday, the Midwest Lacrosse Conference crowned Aurora University as the MLC tournament champion which secured the Spartans an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament. Monday, Aurora learned its second-round matchup in the 34-team bracket.
Champions of the MLC Tournament for the fifth straight season, the Spartans (18-2), will host Illinois Wesleyan University (13-3) from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin this Wednesday at Vago Field.
The winner will advance to take on the winner of Denison University and Carthage College on Saturday.
