MLC Selects Players Of The Week For March 12-18

Marian University's Nick Klotz and Aurora University's Corey Segall have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 12-18, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Klotz (Farmington, Minn.) recorded 16 points in three games as the Sabres defeated North Central University and Carroll University before falling to Monmouth College in overtime to open MLC play. The rookie midfielder had a 10-point game against NCU where he scored six goals with four assists, while also grabbing nine ground balls. He then had a four-point game against Carroll where he had a pair of goals and assists to go with three ground balls.

Segall  (Plainfield, Ill.) picked up 15 ground balls and went 23-of-29 in faceoffs as the Spartans opened up the MLC schedule with road wins at Concordia University Chicago and Benedictine University.
