MLC Selects Players Of The Week For March 26-April 1

Marian University's Nick Klotz and Concordia University Wisconsin's Garrett Wohlford have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 26-April 1, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Klotz (Farmington, Minn.) continued to lead the Sabre offense producing a 13-point week as Marian fell to Benedictine University before defeating Concordia University Chicago. The rookie midfielder had a three-point game against the Eagles before putting together a 10-point game against the Cougars. Against CUC, Klotz netted four goals and added six assists as Marian earned its first conference win in program history.

Wohlford (Rochester, Minn.) helped the Falcons win a pair of games last week. The junior goalkeeper posted 15 saves, a 68.2 percentage and six ground balls during a 10-7 home win over North Central College before making three saves for a 100 save percentage in 28 minutes of action in a 21-4 MLC win at Fontbonne University. He had 18 saves, 72.0 save percentage and six ground balls for the week.
