MINNEAPOLIS— The University of Northwestern's Chase Marlenee and Christoph Tisdale have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) offensive and defensive players of the week respectively, for events April 5-11 as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Marlenee (Northfield, Minn.) had six goals in the 16-4 win over Monmouth on Friday, April 9. He added two assists for eight points on the night. Marlenee leads all MLC players in goals (18) and points (27). The Eagles remain undefeated in conference play through three MLC contests.

Tisdale (Northfield, Minn.) had 14 saves in the victory over the Scots on Friday, April 9. In addition, he earned his third win of the season in net. Tisdale leads all MLC competitors in save percentage (65.9) and wins (3), and is third in saves (27). Northwestern remains undefeated in conference play at 3-0.

The MLC is comprised of NCAA Division III institutions located throughout the Midwest including Beloit (Beloit, Wis.), Cornell (Mt. Vernon, Iowa), Monmouth (Monmouth, Ill.), North Central (Minneapolis, Minn.), Northland (Ashland, Wis.), and Northwestern (St. Paul, Minn.).
