Get to know the program:

  1. Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions?  I'm not sure if it is a ritual, but if we win in one color jersey, we will wear it until we lose. If we lose in a color, we will switch to another color jersey.

  2. What song must be on the pregame warmup? Stranglehold, by Ted Nugent.

  3. What is your favorite lacrosse memory from your time at your school? Either beating Trine back in 2017 or our game against North Central College in 2019. We ended up losing in OT but I believe it was the hardest we've ever competed as a team since I have been here.

  4. What is 1 thing people might not know about your program? We are the first/oldest NCAA program in the state of Iowa. We had our first collegiate season in 2014.

  5. What was your top highlight about your team from last season? Either beating MSOE last year for the first time in program history, or seeing Tanner Weis break the school points record on his senior day (in the last home game) against Carroll.

  6. Where is your favorite place on campus? Oyen Field and the little grotto area in between Peters Commons and Aitchison Hall.

  7. What do you love most about your institution? I love the campus layout, the athletic facilities and the people.

  8. What is special about your program? The people. The players are such good people in their core. I am amazed everyday how kind hearted they are. It makes my job so much more fulfilling.
