MINNEAPOLIS— Lake Forest College's John Casey and Andrew Eisenman have been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) offensive and defensive players of the week respectively, for events February 21-28 as selected by the league's head coaches.

Casey (Wheeling, Ill.) led Lake Forest with six goals and three assists for nine points in the 19-0 victory against Beloit on Saturday, Feb. 26. 

Eisenman (Trumbull, Conn.) tallied five caused turnovers and four ground balls in the Foresters' shutout victory against the Buccaneers.  

This is the first career MLC honor for both players, and first in program history.

The 2022 season marks the first year of competition in the MLC for Lake Forest.

The MLC is comprised of NCAA Division III institutions located throughout the Midwest including Cornell (Mt. Vernon, Iowa), Dubuque (Dubuque, Iowa), Lake Forest (Lake Forest, Ill.), Monmouth (Monmouth, Ill.), North Central (Minneapolis, Minn.), Northland (Ashland, Wis.), and Northwestern (St. Paul, Minn.).
