MINNEAPOLIS --The tournament field for the 2022 Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) Tournament has been finalized.

The University of Dubuque (10-7, 6-0 MLC) won the league title for the first time in program history to earn the top seed for the tournament. The Spartans will host fourth-seed Northwestern (4-9, 2-4) in a semifinal Wednesday, May 4. Game time is yet to be announced. The Spartans are making their first appearance in the tournament, and the Eagles appear for the second-straight year.

Lake Forest (8-6, 5-1) has earned the second seed and will host Cornell (7-9, 4-2) in the other semifinal Wednesday. Game time is yet to be announced. This marks the second-straight year the Rams have qualified for the conference tournament, while the Foresters make their debut.

The two semifinal winners will meet Saturday, May 7 in the MLC tournament final at the highest remaining seed. Game time will be announced. 

The tournament champion is the MLC's automatic qualifier in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament.
