LAKE FOREST, Ill.-- Lake Forest College defeated the University of Dubuque 11-4 in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) Tournament championship Saturday afternoon at Farwell Field. 

The Foresters won their second-straight MLC tournament championship and received the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament next week. 

This is the second championship under head coach Phil Dodson in the Foresters' third season as a varsity program.

John Casey was named the Tournament MVP for his play over the two games. 

The NCAA selection show will be Sunday, May 5 at 8 p.m.
