Augustana College sophomore attacker Kevin Gleason (Chicago, Ill./Loyola Academy) led the Vikings offense to a 1-1 record last week and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The sophomore scored three goals in an 11-9 loss to Carthage and netted eight goals with two assists in a 19-5 triumph over Fontbonne.
For the week, Gleason scored 11 goals with two assists to pace the Vikings scoring attack.
Augustana (9-4, 6-2 MLC) will look to secure the fourth and final spot in the MLC tournament with a win over Elmhurst or Aurora this week.
