Aurora University senior midfielder Max Obriecht (Naperville, Ill./North) led the Spartans to a 2-1 record during the week and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The senior scored two goals with four assists and added eight ground balls in a 22-5 MLC win over MSOE and added one goal with one assist and four ground balls in a 23-6 conference win over Fontbonne. Obriecht added three goals, one assist, and five ground balls in a 12-8 non-conference loss to Whittier.
For the week, the senior scored six goals with six assists and 17 ground balls, while finishing 21-of-31 on face-offs.
Aurora (5-6, 2-0 MLC) will face Beloit in a conference contest Wednesday and will host Carthage in a non-league affair Saturday.
