Augsburg College's Izzy Snow and Marissa Guillou have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of April 24-30, the final weekly awards of the 2017 season, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Snow (Golden Valley, Minnesota) scored five goals, including the game-winning goal with 4:27 left in overtime, to give the Auggies a 16-15, come-from-behind win at Concordia University Wisconsin Friday, snapping the Falcons' 28-game MWLC winning streak. The sophomore added two assists for a seven-point game, tying Augsburg's single-game record for points. She also had two ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover in the win.
Guillou (Burnsville, Minn.) recorded 18 saves, while adding seven ground balls and two caused turnovers, to lead Augsburg in its 16-15 overtime win at Concordia Wisconsin. The junior had nine saves in the first half, seven in the second half, two in overtime, and also recorded two saves on free-position shots.
