The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association has announced the selection of the 2017 All-Region teams and a pair of student-athletes from the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference were honored.
Hamline University's Dana Almquist, a junior attacker, and Concordia University Wisconsin's Allison Kurek, a junior midfielder, were named to the All-Great Lakes Region Second Team.
All of the student-athletes named All-Region are eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on Friday, May 19. The IWLCA will honor the All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American Banquet on Saturday, June 3 at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, Md.
