Monmouth College's Kara-Jade Gordon and Augsburg University's Maddie Seykora have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of March 18-24, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Gordon (Nashville, Tenn.) scored 15 goals in three games as the Fighting Scots went 2-1 on the week. The junior attacker tallied a school-record nine goals in a 20-14 win over Loras College Wednesday to go along with a pair of assists. She opened the week with five scores in a 9-7 win over Cornell College Saturday and had her final tally in a 21-3 loss to Hamline University Sunday.

Sykora (Owatonna, Minn.) stopped 16 of the 30 shots-on-goal she faced for a .533 save percentage and had six ground balls in a pair of road victories for the Auggies. The sophomore goalkeeper recorded 10 saves on 16 shots-on-goal, with two ground balls, in Augsburg's 15-6 win at Cornell Saturday, then claimed six saves on 14 shots-on-goal, with four ground balls and a caused turnover in the Auggies' 12-8 win at Wartburg College Saturday.
