Hamline Wins Fourth-Straight MWLC Tournament Championship

ST. PAUL -- Hamline University defeated Northwestern 14-5 in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) Tournament championship Saturday evening at Klas FIeld. 

The Pipers won their fourth-straight Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) tournament championship and received the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament next week. They now also hold the mark for most MWLC tournament crowns with four.

This is the fourth championship under head coach Karen Heggernes in Hamline's fifth year of membership in the MWLC.

The NCAA selection show will be Monday, May 3 at 9:30 a.m.
