Beloit College senior attack Libby Storrick (Coon Rapids, Minn./H.S.) found the back of the net 10 times during the opening weekend of play and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The senior scored 10 goals with one assist, six ground balls, seven draw controls and seven caused turnovers during the week of play. Storrick scored four goals with one assist, three ground balls, three draw controls and four caused turnovers in a 19-10 loss to Augsburg in the MWLC opener and added six goals with three ground balls, four draw controls and three caused turnovers in a 13-7 loss to Hamline.
For the week, Storrick averaged 5.0 goals, 3.0 ground balls, 3.5 draw controls and 3.5 caused turnovers per game.
Beloit (0-2, 0-1 MWLC) will return to action on March 5 at home against Concordia-Chicago.
