Official MLC/MWLC Word Document Rosters
It is recommended that Word roster documents use the following formatting (mirrored from the NCAA Championship programs):
- Class Abbreviations--Athletic Year Only (AP Style): Fr., So., Jr., Sr.
- Height Format (AP Style): 5-10, 5-11, 6-0, 6-1...
- State Abbreviations (AP Style): Ala. Ariz. Ark. Calif. Colo. Conn. Del. Fla. Ga. Ill. Ind. Kan. Ky. La. Md. Mass. Mich. Minn. Miss. Mo. Mont. Neb. Nev. N.H. N.J. N.M. N.Y. N.C. N.D. Okla. Ore. Pa. R.I. S.C. S.D. Tenn. Vt. Va. Wash. W.Va. Wis. Wyo.
Eight states are never abbreviated: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Ohio, Texas, Utah. - Pronunciations should be included for difficult names.
