- All team results and statistics must be current and up to date on the Conference website via the Presto Sports Network.
- Nominations are to include contests taking place from Monday to the following Sunday. These seven days are considered the week of competition for the Conference weekly awards.
- Only participation in regular-season varsity contests will be considered.
- Exhibitions, scrimmages, junior varsity contests, varsity reserve contests, and contests versus non-four-year institutions will not be considered as support for the athletes nominated and should not be included in nominations.
- Nominations for each team are to come from only one source each week (SID, Asst. SID or head coach), preferably from the institution's sports information office.
- Only one nominee per award -- one offensive nomination and one defensive nomination -- may come from each team each week.
- Sports information directors from the Conference will select Players of the Week award winners via votes conducted via the online awards system.
- Member-school SIDs must submit their Players of the Week nominations via the online awards system by 12 p.m. every Monday -- only nominations submitted via the online awards system will be considered.
- Ballots will open at 12:01 p.m. and must be completed by 2 p.m. the same day.
- SIDs cannot vote for an athlete from their institution.
- Any ties will be broken by the Conference SID.
- The awards will be published the evening of the same day.
- If Monday is a holiday, this process will take place on Tuesday.
