Concordia University (Wis.) sophomore midfielder Danny Bundra (Lake Zurich, Ill./H.S.) helped the Falcons finish 3-0 this past week and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The sophomore won 16-of-24 face offs and picked up 10 ground balls during a 15-7 win over Olivet and then won seven face offs with four ground balls in the program’s first ever win over Adrian College, 11-10.
Bundra then won 18-of-21 face offs and picked up eight ground balls in a 14-4 home win over Alma Saturday.
For the week, the faceoff specialist had 22 ground balls with 41 face off wins.
Concordia (7-2, 3-0 MLC) has won six straight contests heading into Wednesday’s contest against Beloit.
