Concordia University junior goalkeeper Thomas Mueller (Prior Lake, Minn./H.S.) led the Falcons defense during a 0-2 week and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The junior had 11 saves for a 73% save percentage with three ground balls in a narrow 4-3 loss to John Carroll in the season opener. Mueller added 12 saves for a 57% save percentage with seven ground balls and a caused turnover in a 9-6 loss to Olivet.
For the week, Mueller totaled 23 saves with a 65% save percentage and 10 ground balls.
Concordia (0-2, 0-0 MLC) will travel to Dubuque for a 1PM start time on Saturday.
