Concordia University junior long stick middle Mark Wilson (Calgary, Alberta/Notre Dame) led the Falcons defense during a pair of wins and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The junior finished the week with 10 ground balls and three caused turnovers as the Falcons beat Piedmont 13-7 and Transylvania 7-6.
Concordia (3-3, 0-0 MLC) will open the conference slate at home against Beloit on Thursday and will also play host to Whittier on Sunday.
