Benedictine University junior attacker Blake Keenan (Schaumburg, Ill./H.S.) led the Eagles to a perfect 3-0 record during the week and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The junior scored a single-game school record with seven goals in a 23-6 win over Fontbonne to open MLC play, adding three ground balls, an assist, and three caused turnovers in the win.
Keenan added five goals with an assist and a ground ball in a 14-9 win over Birmingham Southern and scored one goal with an assist, a caused turnover, and a ground ball in a 10-8 win at Huntingdon.
Benedictine (5-2, 1-0 MLC) will travel to Cornell College for a 7PM start on Wednesday and will return home for a match with Southwestern (TX) on Friday.
